About Us

CMG was founded in 1976 and we now are celebrating our 30 year anniversary. CMG began as an agency that helped new artist enter the music industry. We began by searching for raw talent and developing that talent into a package that could be marketed in the music market place. Over the years we organized our own Publishing Company, Ann Gene T. Publishing (BMI) which still is in the publishing business but no longer a part of CMG. Our own record label ABC Dot Universal Records which was disband in the late nineties due to conflicts with the major Universal label. We at one time owned Dynamic Artist Entertainment a booking agency along with our own recording studio. After finding that we were spreading ourselves to thin and not accomplishing our goals as a management and development firm we decided to go full circle and return to our roots as a management/development company.  We also included web site designing because we have developed and maintain several web sites for major recording artist as well as Indie artist.

Today we are in search of new talent - raw talent - real winners - Artist of tomorrow! If you visit our talent search page you will find out what we are looking for and how to submit your portfolio to us along with your music. We will only work with those who are willing to listen and take instruction and who have no ego problems. If you think you are the great thing on God's green earth don't contact us. We want you to be confident about your talent but not an ego maniac! We shoot straight and we could care less if your feelings get hurt. We will get you where you want to go if you have the talent and if you are willing to LISTEN. We also do not work for free so don't even ask! Even the burger kids at Mc Donald's get paid - RIGHT !  Who ever may have told you that if someone in the music industry ask you for money their a crook is just nuttier than a fruit cake. no one works for free - except volunteers and we don't volunteer our management and development time.  If you think that what we are saying on this page is harsh then you better get ready for a whole lot of let downs in this business. We are easier than most yet we expect you to become a professional.
